Rojas has taken his message beyond campaign talking points. Through Safe Communities Network, he has worked with east valley residents to turn social media into a digital neighborhood watch system. The goal is simple: connect neighbors, document problems in real time, and help law enforcement respond with better evidence. According to News 3 Las Vegas, Rojas has identified 20 to 30 east side hotspots and built local connections among people dealing with issues such as reckless driving, homeless encampments, loud parties, and neighborhood crime concerns.
His approach blends accountability with compassion. News 3 reported Rojas said he helped move more than 50 encampments by connecting unhoused people with resources, while also helping property owners understand their rights. In one case, he helped connect an unhoused woman with a local nonprofit, leading to safer placement and support. His work stresses community education, lawful reporting, and cooperation with Metro.
Rojas believes safer communities require residents, law enforcement, elected officials, business owners, and property owners to work together. His campaign platform reflects this same view. He supports adequate law enforcement funding, stronger community engagement with police, better prosecution tools for repeat offenders, and early education programs such as Read by 3rd Grade. He also links public safety to economic growth, arguing safer business areas, lower taxes, and reduced licensing fees help small businesses grow.
His public activity also includes attending community events, supporting local Republican candidates, and appearing with LVMPD representatives at outreach events such as Coffee with a Cop. For Rojas, safer communities start with people taking responsibility for their own blocks, documenting problems, learning the law, and working with police instead of waiting for someone else to fix the issue.
